Merry Christmas!

Season's greetings to you all. No - the project is not complete. Will it be completed by New Year's? Uh, don't think so. Will it be completed by Jeff's birthday (Jan. 22)? Uh, probably not. I should start a pool with the winner invited to our first party! OK, so here's the positive: we now have a toilet in a room that has a door that closes and locks. It also has water and a turbo flush. We have chosen almost all our light fixtures (dining room light had to be returned - hung too low). All of the paint colors are chosen and painting has started, but currently halted -- don't ask. Here's the best news - Jeff and Mary are hosting our Christmas this year. I think this might be the first year ever we didn't put up a tree. Looking at it negatively, that makes me sad. Looking at it positively: we don't have decorations to take down and put away. Our table is our "snow gauge". This was one day's snowfall.
The white columns have been added to the front of the house. The gutters have also been added, but don't change the look as dramatically as the columns.
The granite top is on the "buffet" cabinet, but the reflection shown in the picture is deceiving. There is no "white" wall as shown in the reflection that divides the top. It is all one. There IS white at the end which needs to be painted.
This picture shows the finished wood floors which are now covered so they can paint. The trim has been started to be painted, but it is a boring picture, so didn't include it.
The bathroom walls are 2 shades of green. Cabinets are in, but obviously countertop is not. The middle lower part will be my "vanity". The bottom cabinet will have a mirror in it instead of those shelves showing.
It's hard to take a picture of glass and windows and not have the reflection. The tub is in and so is the shower glass (euro style). It does look really nice.
