I just realized, this blog is now one year old since I started it on our FL vacation last year. Ahhh, the benefits of being retired -- getting away from the cold and snow for a little while. Last year, we looked and found this 2-bedroom condo. It's at the end of the building, quiet, and has a beautiful view of the water. Nothing like listening to the waves! While we certainly miss our family, the R&R has been wonderful. Following are some photos of our time in FL.

We made plans to drive to Bonita Springs to stay for a couple of days with Denni & Jim Englehart. Their condo is beautiful. We watched the Superbowl with them. Well, actually, Jim and David watched the game while Denni & I played Scrabble.

We met up with Dee and Dave Jonas who were also vacationing in FL. They are friends from college and we had a great day with them, catching up on the latest news and spending some time on the beach.
Later in the day, we met up with Bob and Bev Veenstra, friends of Jonas' who have also become our friends after being on a couple of cruises with them.
On Valentine's Day, we decided to take a boat ride where we were guaranteed to see dolphins. We were not disappointed.
The dolphins had fun following in the wake of the boat delighting us all as they dove out of the water. This was a pod of dolphins, maybe 5 or 6 jumping out of the water.
