A spur-of-the-moment decision to take a trip (using Mary's about to expire voucher) took Linda, Mary and Ret to Myrtle Beach for a 4-day weekend. We left early in the morning on Thursday (6th) arriving in MB around 10 a.m. and picked up by Linda's brother, Randy. Randy and his wife Beth graciously allowed us to stay with them at their beautiful condo and let us use one of their vehicles to get around. Beth was able to join us on Fri., Sat. and Sun. and became our chauffeur.
The weather wasn't the best in the world, but certainly warmer than Michigan. We managed to do plenty of shopping (mostly at outlet stores), saw a movie, play games, and of course we didn't worry a bit about going hungry as we always see to that need first! The only thing missing was the rest of our gang -- Tammy, Ann & Patti.
Just missing a couple of other "rockers".
