Nick has reached the wonderful age of 6. One Saturday, June 14, he had a birthday party. The weather cooperated perfectly and everyone had a great time. They had a water slide, water balloons and the evening was capped off with fireworks which we watched from their front yard. We'd like to think the fire works were for Nick's birthday, but actually the Canton Community 4th of July fireworks were held on this night. Since their new house is nearby, we didn't have to drive anywhere to watch the fireworks. It was great, but I don't have any pictures to share. Happy Birthday Nick - we love you!
Indiana Jones?
On Wednesday, June 18 (Nick's actual birthday), we celebrated Nick's birthday by taking him to Chuck E. Cheese. Maddie, Colyn, Mary, Josh and Colyn's dad Brian joined us. The kids had a blast as one would expect in such a kid zone.
Nick was greeted by Chuck E. Cheese. For the first time ever, Maddie also ran up and hugged him, but I didn't get my camera out fast enough. She hugged him and ran back to Grandpa. That was a milestone for her.
