4th of July Weekend - Happy Birthday America

What better way to spend the 4th of July than to celebrate it with kids! We spent the afternoon and evening with Jeff, Mary and the kids at their house. We had a lot of fun. Maddie kept asking if it was dark -- she knew they didn't do the fireworks till it got dark. Last year she was afraid of them -- she did much better this year.

Nick and Maddie shucked all the corn and they did a great job.

David decided to experiment tying 4 or 5 firecrackers together at a time. Does Jeff's expression tell us there is a little role reversal here?
