Since the framing of the house has started and now they are putting framing up for the roof(s), I'm getting requests to post photos more often. Nick and Maddie love running around the construction site after the workers leave. Nick decided to play fireman and put on the appropriate clothing. Maddie then ran in the house and came out with a construction hat on. They really like watching the progress.

This lovely artifact was delivered on Monday right beside the road. Since it will be around for awhile, I suggested they move it from the street (I'm sure neighbors and people walking by would not appreciate this eyesore). David and I got a big laugh when the choice of location ended up being right beside our swing! Let's hope we don't have too many humid days ahead of us.
This view is from the rear of the sunroom. The small window on the right will be into the family room where my desk will be located.
Family room will be extended to short wall with small window (no wall at this end yet). Sunroom is behind family room with transom windows. There will be a door leading into sunroom from this side of the house.
Bathroom on the left, dining room on the right. Between them will be a shade garden under the kitchen window and a terrace surrounding the dining room. There will be a covered porch at this end of the dining room.
